If the words quiet luxury, minimalism or understated pique your interest, then you’re probably a fan of The Row. Since its inception, the brand has stood firm in its aesthetic—simple pieces, focused on proportion and timelessness. Immediately, the fashion world took note. Whilst all of The Row’s creations fly out of stock almost immediately, it’s the accessories that intrigue me the most. I could spend hours talking through the extensive It bag collection, from the treasured Marlo to the playful Peggy clutch, any of which would be a welcome addition to my handbag collection. The designs inevitably spark a thousand copies, and the same goes for its footwear. The zipped ankle boots launched in 2019 created their own trend cycle, and the brand’s elasticated ballet flats cemented the return of a style that had been overlooked for many years.
