Airline loyalty program promotions (August 2026)

Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on specific dates, the opportunity to earn more points or miles for future travel and exclusive deals to accumulate points or miles toward elite status. Below is one of the best offers we found for August.

Save up to 25% on Flying Blue award flights

Air France-KLM’s Flying Blue program releases a new batch of discounted award tickets on the first of every month, and August’s picks knock off up to 25% flights between the US and Europe — economy fares start at 18,750 miles and premium economy from 30,000. Book anytime in August and you’ll have until Jan. 31, 2027, to actually travel, so there’s no rush to lock in dates. Find more details here.

Save up to 50% on Alaska’s Global Getaways award sale

Alaska Airlines’ Atmos Rewards program is spotlighting discounted one-way awards to a handful of international destinations this month, including Rome from 25,000 miles, Edinburgh from 20,000, Madrid from 20,000 and Sydney from 35,000. Travel dates vary by destination, ranging from August 2026 through February 2027, but you’ll need to book by Aug. 8, 2026 — so don’t wait on this one. See the full list of discounted cities here.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (August 2026)

Hotel loyalty programs regularly offer discounted award stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some August deals to consider when booking your next stay.

50,000 bonus points per stay at the Ritz-Carlton Kyoto

If you’ve been eyeing a stay at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Kyoto with its Kamogawa River views, relaxing spa and heated indoor pool, now might be the time to book. Marriott is currently offering 50,000 bonus points per stay for guests who stay between Aug. 1 and Sept. 30. The deal also includes complimentary breakfast for up to two guests. Earn up to five free night awards with World of Hyatt

World of Hyatt is running a free night award promotion for stays across Latin America and the Caribbean. Register by Sept. 30, 2026, then complete three qualifying nights between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2027, at participating hotels, which include the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort in Costa Rica and Alila Mayakoba in dreamy Riviera Maya, and you’ll earn a Category 1-4 Free Night Award — up to five total. Redeem your awards by June 30, 2027.

Card issuers offer deals and discounts on a wide range of products, from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Note that these are targeted, so they may or may not be available on your account. You must activate these offers on your card and use the enrolled card to make the purchase in order to earn bonus rewards.

Targeted Amex Offer at Turo

There’s a new opportunity to save on rental cars. Targeted cardmembers can earn a $30 statement credit after spending $150 or more on a Turo rental booked directly through turo.com or the Turo app. This offer covers U.S. and Canada reservations only, and your car must be returned and paid for by Dec. 31 to qualify.

Targeted Chase Offer at Turo

Check your Chase Offers for a targeted offer to earn $30 back on an eligible Turo reservation after meeting the minimum spend requirement. Offer expires Aug. 31.

Targeted Chase Offer at Viator

You can earn 8% cash back on your first two payments at Viator or TripAdvisor Experiences by August 31, up to $10 in cash back total.
