Our Favorite Fans Are on Sale to Help With Summer Heat Waves (2026)

It’s still sweltering out there for many Americans. We’ve been testing fans for far longer than just this summer, and while historically this is one of the worst times of the year to try to save money on anything “cooling,” a few of our top picks are on sale. If you could use some extra chill, check them out before the deals are gone.

For more recommendations, check out our guides to the Best Fans, the Best Handheld and Portable Fans, and the Best Window Air Conditioners.

Diveblues Portable Handheld Fan for $15 ($5 off)

Portable Handheld Fan

Our favorite portable fan goes on sale pretty often, but not for less than it is right now. It’s discounted in nearly every color. It’s versatile and can be clipped to a bag, stood up on a desk, or worn around your neck. WIRED editor Kat Merck also appreciated its digital display, which lets you know how much battery is left. At nearly 3 inches across, the head is capable of pushing out a pretty significant breeze to actually cool you down.

Dreo TurboPoly Fan 508S for $117 ($15 off)

The best pedestal fan we’ve tested has a sweet RGB light ring to add a hint of mood lighting to your soon-to-be-chilled environs. It’s quiet but powerful, with nine different speeds and three methods of control: the remote, the smartphone app, and voice assistants like Amazon Alexa. It can also oscillate vertically instead of horizontally. The discount isn’t huge, but the fan basically never sells for less.

Levoit Windi Pro Mini Portable Tower Fan for $70 ($30 off)

Windi Pro Mini Portable Tower Fan

This handy little tabletop fan is editor Kat Merck’s most-used fan of the year. Standing at 15 inches tall, it’s portable and can be toted around the house, to the backyard, or wherever one may be hanging out at any given moment. It oscillates and has different timer options; and it recharges via its included USB-C dock. It would be cooler if it could be recharged without the dock, but it’s still a worthy buy, especially now while it matches the best deal we’ve seen.
