In my fashion rulebook, white jeans are a year-round wardrobe essential; however, I find that I wear them most in the summer because they complement the fresh, crisp feeling of warm weather. Although there are countless ways to style them, the most luxurious look, in my humble opinion, is with sleek-looking flats, like the pair Brooke Shields recently wore.

Last week, while in NYC, the iconic ’80s supermodel was photographed strolling through the streets. She was wearing high-waisted, wide-leg white jeans, perfect for a sunny afternoon. She styled the jeans with a simple beige tank top, a Gucci Giglio tote bag, a baseball cap, and the aforementioned elegant flat shoes, specially grommet Mary Janes.
