Two Big Wins For Honeywell Aerospace

Honeywell Aerospace started the show with two major announcements. Firstly, the firm has partnered with Aeromexico to provide the Mexican flag carrier with SURF-A runway safety technology across its fleet of more than 100 Boeing 737 jets. Elsewhere, IndiGo has chosen Honeywell to provide “avionics, auxiliary power units, and aftermarket support for 810 new Airbus A320neo family aircraft.”


Skymark Airlines To Lease Seven Boeing 737 MAX 10s From Aviation Capital Group

Japan’s has shaken hands with Aviation Capital Group on a lease deal for seven examples of Boeing’s stretched 737 MAX 10 narrowbody twinjet. These aircraft will begin arriving at Skymark Airlines in 2028, and they will “support the airline’s broader fleet expansion and renewal plans, while helping the airline to sustainably increase capacity on key routes from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.”


UK Police Buys Two More Airbus Helicopters

The first Airbus order of the show came in the form of a commitment for two more H135 helicopters from the UK’s National Police Air Service (NPAS). This, the manufacturer explains, “brings the total fleet renewal programme to nine H135s.” Deliveries are expected in 2028, with the helicopters being delivered to Airbus’s facilities at London Oxford Airport (OXF) to be configured for police usage.


BA Selects P&W Engines For Incoming A320neos

British Airways has announced that it has selected the Pratt & Whitney GTF engines for up to 63 incoming Airbus A320neo jets: 33 firm orders and 30 options. These deliveries will commence in 2027, with Pratt & Whitney “also providing maintenance for the engines through a 12-year EngineWise Comprehensive services agreement, ensuring optimized fleet efficiency and cost of ownership.”
