Airline Crew Berated By Passenger For Not Speaking Their Language: Who’s Right?



A few months ago, the media outlet Straits Times shared a video on social media showing a passenger scolding cabin crew for not speaking chinese/Mandarin and instead using English.

The incident, which was said to have taken place on April 22nd, led to the flight being delayed for over an hour and led to local police boarding the aircraft and removing the traveler.
