This week’s roundup for staffing changes on Parliament Hill.
We’re starting this week’s Hill Movers at the Prime Minister’s Office.

Laurent de Casanove is joining the PMO as a media advance.
“Growing up in Mauritius, working in politics — let alone at the Prime Minister’s Office in Canada — wasn’t something I ever pictured. I’m grateful to Canada for the opportunities it has given me and humbled by the trust placed in me,” de Casanove wrote in a post on LinkedIn.
Prior to the position, de Casanove was the director of communications at the minister of government transformation, works and procurement.
He also held communication and advisor roles in minister of national defence, minister of transport and internal trade, as well as the minister of Canadian heritage.
