Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding Fashions Generates $26.7 Million in MIV

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding attire, worn for their megawatt July 3 celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City, generated an estimated $26.7 million in media impact value in the 48 hours following the wedding night, according to a new report from Launchmetrics. (Launchmetrics assesses the MIV, a monetary value calculated from social media, online posts, interactions and articles.)

Even without any official wedding photo or video releases from Swift, Kelce or the luxury fashion, jewelry and footwear brands chosen for their wedding attire, the breakdown of the MIV for the brands involved had Dior at $15 million; Cartier at $5.9 million, and Christian Louboutin at $5.8 million. According to the report, Launchmetrics forecasts an increase of MIV following July 6 — certainly once the newlyweds release official wedding images.

Both Swift and Kelce selected styles from Christian Dior haute couture by creative director Jonathan Anderson for their wedding ceremony Friday. By wearing Anderson’s custom Dior design during her nuptials at the New York City landmark venue, Swift became the first celebrity to wear a couture wedding gown by the Parisian house’s creative director of men’s, women’s and haute couture.

As Anderson unveiled his fall 2026 couture collection on Monday, the creative director shared new details about designing Swift’s wedding dress with WWD’s Paris bureau chief Joelle Diderich.

“It was a joy to work with her. We became very good friends,” Anderson said. “It’s an emotional thing doing someone’s wedding.”

The 14-time Grammy winner also walked down the aisle in custom Christian Louboutin shoes. Louboutin has created hundreds of shoes for her “Eras Tour.” The Kansas City Chiefs tight end also wore custom Louboutins, while Swift finished her look with Cartier jewelry.
