It’ll tide you over until Final Fantasy 7 Revelation comes out
On Wednesday, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the lineup of new games joining its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in June. Final Fantasy 16, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and more will join the catalog on June 16 for PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers.
Final Fantasy 16 is the latest mainline game in the long-running franchise (not counting remakes and spinoffs). It’s a grim game as protagonist Clive Rosfield seeks revenge on a Dark Eikon. Unlike some of the old-school entries, Final Fantasy 16 is action-focused with real-time combat. It’s been well-received, sitting with a score of 87 on both Metacritic and OpenCritic. Polygon’s review was more sour than most, enjoying its combat, but criticizing Final Fantasy 16‘s narrative. “What a shame that this is the story that accompanies the compelling combat design and encounters that I couldn’t get enough of,” it said.
More games join in June, like Kingdom Come: Deliverance and a Life is Strange game. Here’s everything new to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in June 2026:
- Final Fantasy 16 (PS5)
- Sonic X Shadow Generations (PS5, PS4)
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PS5, PS4)
- Life is Strange: Double Exposure (PS5)
- Farming Simulator 25 (PS5)
- Blades of Fire (PS5)
- Black Desert (PS5)
- Gitaroo Man (PlayStation Plus Premium) (PS5, PS4)
PlayStation Plus’ Game Catalog of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games is available to those who subscribe to its higher tiers, above Essential. It’s Sony’s answer to Xbox Game Pass, offering hundreds of games for subscribers to download and check out.
June 2026’s PS Plus Essential games are also available to download and include a great Warhammer 40,000 game.
