Lizzo Trades Minimalist Mules for Metallic Gold Pair in NYC

She opted for the Gianvito Rossi Ascent 55 leather mules. The style is made with a metallic napa leather upper and a leather sole in a lustrous metallic gold. The slip-on sandals feature a leather footbed and lining, a peep toe, and an ultra-round toe. The open-toe silhouettes balance on top of a slightly flared heel measuring around two inches. The shoes are embellished with the signature Ribbon detail on the wide toe strap.

The Ascent style is also available with a wedge heel, which measures approximately 75mm/3.5 inches in height. The Italian luxury footwear brand doesn’t currently offer the style on its website, but the Ascent is now available in a strappy sandal and pointed-toe slingback design in a variety of colors and materials.

Lizzo wore the heels with a figure-hugging white crewneck T-shirt with a rhinestone and crossed-out “Bitch” graphic on the chest, which is the title of her upcoming album that is due out on Friday. The “About Damn Time” singer paired the shirt with a micro miniskirt in a brown leopard print that featured a high slit on one side.

She followed a similar outfit formula at the “I Love Boosters” Los Angeles premiere in May. She paired the album merch with a white feather-trimmed jacket, a white miniskirt, a white Balenciaga fringe bag, and white feather sandals.

The party at Pieces Bar celebrated the release of “Bitch,” which is the fifth studio album by the rapper, who is signed to Nice Life and Atlantic Records. The first two singles, “Don’t Make Me Love U” and “Bitch,” were released on March 20 and May 1, respectively. Lizzo has won four Grammy Awards so far, and has received 13 nominations throughout her career. In 2023, she won Record of the Year for her hit single “About Damn Time.”
