Gravity Circuit 2 announced, and the first is now free on Steam

Developer Domesticated Ant Games and publisher Dear Villagers announced Gravity Circuit 2 on Monday, to be released in 2027. To celebrate the game’s announcement, they are making the first Gravity Circuit on PC free to keep forever on Steam for the next two weeks.

Gravity Circuit is a retro-stylized platformer in the vein of Capcom’s Mega Man Zero games. Set in a futuristic world populated by robots, Gravity Circuit emulates the feel of action-packed classic ’90s run-and-gun sidescrollers. There are 12 different stages for you to fight through, and each one features different gameplay mechanics to ensure no two levels are the same.

Here’s the game’s official description:

In a futuristic world populated by sentient robots, its inhabitants are once more threatened by an old foe, the Virus Army. Defeated decades ago, it has re-emerged from the shadows with a unique goal, complete world domination. Severely weakened Guardian Corps are left with no other choice but to call upon a hero of the previous war: the lone operative, Kai, who harnesses the powers of the mysterious Gravity Circuit. As the world’s last line of defense, journey through futuristic environments, and take down the evil mastermind behind this chaos.

Gravity Circuit has over 2,000 “overwhelmingly positive” player reviews on Steam, so it’s no surprise a sequel is on the way. If you want to claim Gravity Circuit for free, you have until June 14 at 1 p.m. EDT to head over to Steam and snag it.

If you like what Gravity Circuit has to offer, the sequel will arrive in 2027 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC.

A few other games are free to claim on Steam right now. If you’re in the mood for a puzzle game filled with cryptids, grab Moonrise Fall. It’s free on Steam until Tuesday, June 2 at 1 p.m. EDT. Those who want a cheaper driving game alternative to Forza Horizon 6 can grab Drift86 for free until Wednesday, June at 12 p.m. EDT. It has over 1,700 “very positive” player reviews on Steam.

And speaking of free games, you still have time to claim this week’s free games from the Epic Games Store.
