Asiana As A Separate Airline Will Cease To Exist By 2027



It’s been a long and drawn-out merger for Korean Air and its acquisition of Asiana Airlines. But, then again, the absorption of one major airline into another always takes a long time as we’ve seen with previous, similar deals. And so Korean Air is set to fully absorb Asiana Airlines on December 17th, with the latter carrier ceasing to operate as a separate entity and brand.
