End Of An Era: Final Spirit Airlines Flight Lands In Dallas As Carrier Confirms Shutdown



By now, many of you are aware that Spirit Airlines has ceased operations. Indeed, the last Spirit Airlines flight — flight NK1833 from Detroit to Dallas/Fort Worth — touched down shortly after midnight in the early hours of Saturday, May 2nd, marking the end of 34 years of operations for the ultra-low-cost carrier.
