Are there downsides to liberal majorities?

The Liberal Party of Canada can do anything it wants, with no objections. Opposition parties can’t even force an election due to their majority.

Sure, this means that the Conservatives can’t have anything supported, but that also means the chance of an NDP bill or motion is likely never going to be supported. Anything left of the Liberals is not going to pass.

The Liberal Party of Canada is a Centre-Right party. Giving them absolute control is not a good thing.
