China says it ordered reversal of Meta’s Manus AI acquisition


SINGAPORE — Chinese authorities say they have banned Meta’s acquisition of Manus AI, an artificial intelligence company founded in China — taking Beijing’s most aggressive step yet to stanch the loss of AI talent and resources to the United States and probably setting off a complicated legal and political fight.
