Galia Lahav Fragrance Debut With A.N. Other

Every bride wants to remember the details of her wedding day for as long as possible. And while flowers wilt and dresses go out of fashion, scent — the sense linked closest to memory — is forever.

With that in mind, Galia Lahav is celebrating its 40th anniversary by partnering with niche perfumer A.N. Other on an exclusive fragrance, Citrine Veil, meant to be worn and reworn even after the unveiling at the altar.

Citrine Veil marks Galia Lahav’s first foray into beauty and, according to head designer Sharon Sever, opens the door at the Israeli bridal and eveningwear house to additional lifestyle categories down the road.

Sever described the collaboration with A.N. Other as very natural, saying both brands approach creation in an intentional and artistic way. “We wanted the fragrance to feel like an authentic extension of the Galia Lahav universe,” he added. “The goal was to create something that portrays the same contrasts we often explore in our couture: delicate yet powerful, romantic yet modern.”

Struck by such contrasts in the spring 2027 collection, Steven Claisse, the A.N. Other nose behind Citrine Veil, said he envisioned “a radiant energy” piercing through layers of silk tulle. Thus, the juice sparkles with citrus top notes of bergamot, Italian lemon and bourgeon de cassis, settling into a lush floral heart of orris, white jasmine and lily of the valley. Base notes like sandalwood and soft musk add a velvety finish evocative of human touch.

Although some might be surprised to discover Galia Lahav and A.N. Other are positioning Citrine Veil as unisex, the decision was intentional so both brides and grooms can partake in a shared olfactory experience on their Big Day. Still, Sever remains adamant that the scent can be used “far beyond the ceremony and become part of someone’s everyday life.”

Guests were supposed to get the first whiff of Citrine Veil during Galia Lahav’s NYBFW presentation Wednesday, which was cancelled due to logistic hurdles stemming from the war with Iran. Retailing for $160 per 50-ml bottle, the fragrance will still be available at its U.S. flagship boutiques in New York, Los Angeles and Miami as well as online at galialahav.com and an-other.com.
