Today’s NYT Connections: Sports Edition Hints, Answers for March 31 #554

Well, the purple category on today’s Connections: Sports Edition completely stumped me. (Hint: There’s an acronym in the name of the sport.) I was able to fill in the others (with a few guesses), leaving purple to pretty much fill in by itself. Connections: Sports Edition is published by The Athletic, the subscription-based sports journalism site owned by The Times. It doesn’t appear in the NYT Games app, but it does in The Athletic’s own app. Or you can play it for free online.

The theme is “BASE” jumping. The four answers are antennas, buildings, earth and spans.
