Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila Beauty Collaboration With Salt & Stone

Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila is stepping into beauty, partnering with Salt & Stone on a limited-edition body care collection, Amber & Agave.

Launching March 26 on saltandstone.com and April 10 on sephora.com, the drop includes a $38 Mini Trio Set featuring a deodorant, body wash and body mist, as well as a $49 candle.

Jenner, who launched the tequila company in 2021, said the concept was rooted in the social rituals surrounding a night out: “This collaboration was inspired by one of the best moments of any night out, the time spent getting ready with friends and mixing up cocktails…We are so excited to bring the brands together.”

Founded in Los Angeles in 2017 by Nima Jalali, Salt & Stone has built a following for its performance-driven, vegan and cruelty-free formulas paired with elevated scents.

“We love that they’re a sustainable body care brand focused on natural, cruelty-free, and ethically sourced ingredients, with an iconic, unisex, and bold brand identity,” Jenner told WWD in a statement. “It feels very aligned to 818 and what we stand for.”

The Amber & Agave fragrance is inspired by 818 Tequila Añejo, blending top notes of vetiver and añejo tequila with a heart of dark plum and agave, and a base of vanilla, amber and white musk.

For Salt & Stone, the partnership represents an opportunity to push its creative boundaries, said Jalali, noting the brand was inspired by the distinctive qualities of tequila, layered with references to desert landscapes.

Timed to festival season, the launch will come to life at 818 Outpost, the brand’s invite-only activation held during Coachella in Indio, Calif., on April 10. Now in its fourth year, the event has become a key platform for bringing the 818 brand to life, with each year built around a theme. This year draws on Googie architecture and Space Age retrofuturism. Presented by Cash App, partners include Postmates, Delilah by The h.wood Group, Snapchat, LaCroix, Blank Street, and Jenner-Kardashian family brands Lemme, Khloud, Update, Sprinter and Kylie Cosmetics, among others.

“I love seeing how this has grown since our very first gas station pop-up four years ago,” Jenner said of Outpost. “We’ve come such a long way as a brand, and watching 818 Outpost become its own cultural moment that celebrates our community means a lot to me.”
