Canada’s Carney Calls Vote in Three Seats in Hunt for Majority


The two vacant seats in the Toronto region were won by the Liberals last year. But one of the lawmakers, Chrystia Freeland, left to become a special adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. The other, Bill Blair, was named Canada’s high commissioner to the UK. The Liberals will be favored to win both seats. Freeland is now also a contributor to Bloomberg Television.
