Masha Popova Fall 2026 Ready to Wear Runway, Fashion Show & Collection Review

Masha Popova’s fall 2026 show packed a cheeky punch.

“This collection was inspired by the bedroom as a psychological space, where emotions feel a lot more charged,” she said. That includes the psychosexual, which this collection was bursting with.

Bumster jeans for men and women as well as a terrific tailored coat featuring a high back that revealed HotPants were all triumphant declarations of crack coming back.

“There were lots of bums,” laughed Popova. “The jeans were designed to make your butt look good.” They certainly did the job. After all, denim is Popova’s bread and butter, and some jeans were reworked as an intriguing skirt-pant hybrid.

The most exciting part of this collection – her first shown on-schedule show since graduating from NewGen – was how Popova expanded her universe, tapping into new fabrications and silhouettes.

Most successful were the array of itsy-bitsy shorts, which came in leather and hand-brushed fabrics, debossed knitwear and jersey pieces, and cool bomber jackets.

Popova attributed the sleepwear-inspired pieces, like slinky satin sets and a hot pink bathrobe to a recent viewing of gothic romance film “Only Lovers Left Alive.”
