Jonathan Anderson’s Dior J’Adior Ballet Flats Are Everywhere in 2026

It’s been nearly a decade since former Christian Dior Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri debuted J’Adior footwear in her first collection for the French house back in 2017. There have been a number of different iterations since, and now that Jonathan Anderson has taken her place at the helm, another fresh take has arrived on the fashion scene.

Part of the Irish designer’s first Dior drop, the brand-new Dior J’Adior Ballet Flats feature an entirely different silhouette from the pointed-toe slingback we’re used to from the brand. Instead, Anderson’s version has a rounded toe, low vamp, and full-back design, with a cutout underneath the signature J’Adior-embroidered ivory bow. It also has a slight heel and a super-shiny patent-leather finish that feels particularly relevant in 2026. In addition to classic black, the brand also released a soft, baby-blue version as well as a pump option that’s just as elegant and refined, albeit still playful and infused with youth.

When photos of the shoe first started popping up on my Instagram feed last month, my editor senses immediately began to tingle, a surefire sign that viral fame is on the horizon. Fashion people like Christie Tyler, Aimee Song, and Tina Leung are all already wearing their recently delivered pairs, styling them with casual trousers, unique leg warmers, and sophisticated dresses, proving in the process just how versatile this modern take on the J’Adior shoe can be.
