Asus reveals a Hideo Kojima-themed ROG Flow Z13 at CES 2026

You’ve drank Hideo Kojima sake. You’ve checked the time on your Hideo Kojima watch. You’ve even gone hiking in your Hideo Kojima exoskeleton. But are you ready to game on your Hideo Kojima laptop? Kojima Productions and Asus have partnered up to create a limited edition ROG Flow Z13 that looks like something you’d find in Death Stranding.

Announced this week at CES 2026, the unlikely laptop is something of a perfect brand pairing. Both Kojima Productions and Asus are no strangers to product collaborations, with the latter having a history of revealing surprising crossovers on the CES stage. Even with Hatsune Miku and Evangelion collabs in its past, the Kojima team-up might be Asus’ most ambitious stunt product yet.

The ROG Flow Z13-KJP isn’t too far off from the usual Z13 below its surface. It sports a 13.4-inch, 180Hz 2.5K Nebula HDR touch display that has a kickstand built into the back. For its guts, it’s running an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with Radeon 8060S Graphics, has a fast-charging 70Wh battery, supports WiFi 7, and comes with Armoury Crate (complete with a unique Kojima Productions theme) pre-installed.

The twist is its design, which was created in collaboration with Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa, Kojima Productions’ lead designer. In addition to having a chassis that incorporates carbon fiber and tons of distinct brand detailing, the Flow Z13-KJP’s keyboard also has an unusual shape with corners that jut out. It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie or, you know, a Hideo Kojima game.

The bigger design twist is that it comes with a white carrying case that looks exactly like a piece of cargo in Death Stranding. (I do not advise chucking it at your enemies’ heads.)

In addition to the Flow Z13-KJP, Asus is also putting out a few more Kojima-themed products that you can buy separately. Special versions of the Delta II headset, Kersis II Origin mouse, and Scabbard II XXL mouse pad are coming too, all of which are branded with the studio’s mascot, Ludens.

The ROG Flow Z13-KJP does not have a release date yet, and its price will not be revealed until it hits shelves. It’s expected to release mid to late Q1.
