Every time I find myself scrolling the Zara website (occupational hazard!) I notice just how good the high street retailer is with colour. Getting colour right in fashion is not an easy feat, even for the luxury design houses. Knowing the shades that are about to take off and making them feel instantly wearable takes an expert eye—and the Zara design team seems to be overflowing with them. Even for a neutral-lover like me, a few scrolls into the new-in section and I’m feeling encouraged to experiment with butter yellows, ripe cherry tomato reds and powder blues—and honestly, my wardrobe is all the more interesting for it.
For summer 2026 Zara is definitely leaning into these playful accents, but they still sit against a backdrop of expensive-looking neutrals like espresso brown, clean whites and creamy ecrus. All covetable colours in their own right, but together the brights and neutrals create a polished colour story that feels entirely modern and easy to style. So, whether you’re looking to refresh your holiday wardrobe, invest in a few new elevated basics or simply want to know which hues fashion people are gravitating towards right now, scroll on to see the colour trends that Zara has given its seal of approval for summer. Compliments guaranteed.
