11-Hour Nonstop Flights: Delta’s 10 New Longest Boeing 767 Routes Revealed

Despite being among its oldest aircraft, Delta Air Lines’ Boeing 767s remain a key part of its long-haul operations. According to present fleet data made available by ch-aviation, the Atlanta-based US ‘big three’ legacy carrier and SkyTeam founding member currently has a grand total of 39 767-300ERs at its disposal with an average age of 29.9 years, and 21 767-400ERs aged 25.6 years on average.

The addition of new routes to the Delta Air Lines long-haul network this year means that the picture has changed when it comes to the carrier’s ten longest corridors (by block time) with the Boeing 767. Using current scheduling data from Cirium, an aviation analytics company, let’s take a look at where exactly these routes operate, and the frequencies and variants of the Boeing 767 family Delta uses.

JFK Houses The Two Longest Routes

In this article, August 2026 to March 2027 will be the time period at the heart of our analysis. During this spell, Delta’s two longest routes with jets from the Boeing 767 series both have maximum block times of 11 hours and six minutes. One links New York (JFK) with Honolulu (HNL) in Hawaii, with Cirium’s data showing that Delta Air Lines deploys the Boeing 767-300ER on this route on a daily basis.

The other route in this lengthy pair is from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (ATH) in Greece back to New York JFK. This route only operates on a seasonal basis, with Delta Air Lines deploying the Boeing 767-400ER between the Big Apple and the Greek capital city from late October to early January. Aviator quotes Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s SVP of Europe, Middle East & Africa, as saying that:

“Our summer seasonal flight between Athens and New York [offers] customers more choice, nonstop convenience and onward connections to more destinations in the US than any other carrier.”

The Next Four Serve Atlanta

Delta Air Lines’ main hub is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in the US state of Georgia. As such, it is not much of a surprise to see that its next four longest Boeing 767 routes from August of 2026 to March of 2027 serve this facility. Milan Malpensa (MXP) to Atlanta is the longest, at a maximum of ten hours and 59 minutes: the Boeing 767-400ER is Delta’s jet of choice on this route.

Just two minutes shorter is Delta’s route from Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport (MUC) in southeastern Germany back to Atlanta. This corridor has a maximum block time of ten hours and 57 minutes between August of 2026 and March of 2027. For the most part, Delta serves this route daily with the Boeing 767-400ER, although the monthly frequency drops to 19 flights in January and 21 in February.

Venice (VCE) in Italy is Atlanta’s next most distant destination in terms of Delta’s Boeing 767 operations, with a maximum schedule block time of ten hours and 49 minutes. This puts it just ahead of Zurich (ZRH) in Switzerland, which is ten hours and 46 minutes away. Both routes will only be served by the 767 until the late October season change, although Zurich will at least see 767 flights resume in March.

The Best Of The Rest

The four remaining routes that round out the top ten are split between New York JFK and Atlanta. JFK houses the seventh and ninth-longest 767-operated corridors, with Delta’s flights with the type from Catania (CTA) and Malta (MLA) respectively taking a maximum of ten hours and 44 minutes and ten hours and 34 minutes. Both of these are new routes for 2026, and have thus shaken up the rankings.

Meanwhile, passengers flying on Delta Air Lines’ Boeing 767s from Barcelona (BCN) in Spain and Nice (NCE) in France back to Atlanta can also expect maximum block times that just about exceed the 10.5-hour mark. The Barcelona flights use the Boeing 767-400ER and take a maximum of ten hours and 35 minutes, ranking eighth, while Nice-Atlanta ranks tenth at a maximum of ten hours and 33 minutes.
