Zendaya has cemented herself as one of Hollywood’s foremost modern day style stars, making daring red carpet choices from Venice to Los Angeles in collaboration with longtime stylist Law Roach.
If 2025 was a quiet year for the star in terms of expanding her filmography, 2026 is the exact opposite, with the hotly anticipated films “The Drama,” “The Odyssey” and “Dune: Part Three” all hitting theaters this year (all of which also feature Robert Pattinson). And on the small screen, “Euphoria” will return to HBO with Season Three. Suffice to say, fans can expect Zendaya and Roach to continue their head-turning method dressing journey with all the press runs on the way.
Several fashion industry professionals consider Zendaya a favorite style icon of the current day. Footwear designer Chiso Osuji, founder of Zena Ziora, noted how versatile Zendaya can be with her fashion. Meanwhile, journalist and author Teri Agins said of the actress, “She’s original, and not overdone or costumey. She’s got an original flair and she wears the most flattering style.”

With the exciting looks they’ve curated through the years, Zendaya and Roach have never been ones to shy away from a statement shoe. Roach introduced her to the Christian Louboutin So Kate pump when she was a young teenager, getting her accustomed to the towering 120 mm high heel. From classic black patent leather to crisp white along the “Challengers” press tour to metallic gold to match a Bob Mackie dress in homage to Cher, she’s displayed the range of the So Kate.
The Golden Globe winner actually had her own shoe line launch before the age of 20, Daya by Zendaya, which she worked on with Roach. The line earned the Launch of the Year honor at the 2016 Footwear News Achievement Awards.
The “Dune” actress’ love of shoes can be traced back to a certain family member. “My mom never really wore heels — she’s not a heels kind of woman. She’s 6-foot-4 and was always self-conscious about wearing heels, but I was obsessed with them,” Zendaya explained at the 2016 FNAAs. “So I would go to my grandma’s closet and try on her shoes, no matter how big they were, and walk around everywhere.”

When showcasing her shoe line in 2015, she explained, “I love shoes. [Early on], I was always in sneakers, and it was a big step to get into heels.” She also shared of her personal taste, “If you could see my shoe closet, it would be a bit much. I’m obsessed with Christian Louboutin. I’m also into slides because I’m a bit of a tomboy. I have a lot [of pairs], but I think we’re going to have to empty stuff out to make room for my own shoe [line].”
While the shoe and clothing label created with Titan Industries is no longer active, Zendaya’s love of Louboutin persists. There was even speculation that Louboutin’s Miss Z style introduced in 2025 was inspired by Zendaya, though the brand says it was inspired by Gen Z.

While nowadays Zendaya often sticks to a classic pointed pump, she attended various events wearing a range of silhouettes as her star rose in the 2010s. She stepped out in plenty of caged sandals and platform looks, designs which also showed up in her own shoe line. For more casual occasions, or even whilst performing, Zendaya has also shown off her sneaker game. You could find her at the 2015 Casper + NCLUSIVE event she hosted, for example, wearing Nike Air Jordan Retro High OG sneakers in the “Chicago” colorway.

Tapping into that sporty side, Zendaya and Roach recently co-designed a sneaker for On, the Swiss running brand she became an ambassador for in 2024. The Cloudzone Moon, updating the Cloudzone style, features a breathable mesh upper, supportive heel and forefoot padding and a sculpted midsole with CloudTec cushioning.

In her most recent red carpet moments, we’ve seen Zendaya wear six-inch Jimmy Choo platforms to the 2025 Met Gala; silver Louis Vuitton pumps to the brand’s show in Paris; and custom orange satin Louis Vuitton pumps at the 2025 Golden Globes. (The “Euphoria” star serves as ambassador for Louis Vuitton.)
Time will tell how 2026 will evolve Zendaya’s shoe style — it won’t be long until she’s back to turning heads on red carpets as her blockbuster year heats up.
