With the 2025-26 college basketball season in the books, the focus shifts to the offseason. For players, they have some decisions to make in terms of staying at their program, transferring or entering the NBA draft.
As the draft is just about two months away, the latest rankings for prospects are rolling out. On ESPN, Jeremy Woo has released his big board for the upcoming draft, which features three Tar Heels.

Caleb Wilson leads the way at No. 4 overall behind only AJ Dybantsa, Daryn Peterson and Cameron Boozer. This has been the consensus for most of the season. But the notable name is Henri Veesaar.
The UNC center has yet to declare for the draft or enter the transfer portal. The thought is that if he doesn’t enter the draft, he would return to UNC for another season. Veesaar is likely seeking a first-round grade to leave and enter the draft. In Woo’s rankings, he has Veesaar at No. 44, which would be in the middle of the second round.
Now, that’s not from NBA scouts but just an analyst’s opinion. But for those who are hoping that Veesaar returns, this appears to be good news.
Seth Trimble, who is out of eligibility, is ranked No. 98 on the big board.
