Moving on to West Coast connections, we have a 787 flight from San Francisco to Singapore, followed by San Francisco to Adelaide, Australia. There is an option to fly from Los Angeles International to Melbourne, Australia. Last of all, a popular Dreamliner flight from San Francisco to Melbourne.

The longest flights on this list are between 16.5 and 17.5 hours. Even the shortest flights are over 14 hours. Eastbound legs tend to be the quicker routes with the prevailing jet stream winds. Departing Singapore for San Francisco is shorter than the return flight to Singapore from SFO.

The United Polaris experience may not be as decadent as that of airlines like Emirates or Singapore Airlines, but it is well-loved by travelers for its good value and consistent flying experience.
