Saturday. We meet again. I see you’ve brought your old friends Blustery Wind and Chill In The Air with you. I expected better of you, you know those two just bring you down. You’ve so much potential. What don’t you hang out with T-Shirt Weather and Gosh, That’s Bright anymore? They’ve got their personified heads screwed on right.
No? We’re stuck with this chilly winter for one more weekend? Fine, I didn’t want to go outside anyway. I’m happy to stay in and play videogames.
Let’s see what everyone else is playing.
Jeremy
I probably won’t do much game playing this weekend, as I’m still setting up my new office (which is now painted a lovely shade of blue) and messing with all of the shelves and prints on the wall so it can reach its final Man Cave™ evolution. I also have issues of Absolute Batman and other assorted comics to read from my trip to the shop earlier this week. At the very most, while rearranging the shelves, I may sort the various TTRPG books that I’ve accumulated in my life (many of which I have yet to actually play) and occasionally look at the pictures as I imagine pulling my Fabula Ultima group out of stasis and getting another session in. That’s playing of a sort, isn’t it?!
Edwin
Look Outside wants me to look outside, so instead of playing Look Outside I will be hastening forth into the hills and forests of Hertfordshire, tramping about in the blossoming March weather. I sense no impending descent into madness or terrifying bodily transformations, just spring making itself known in the budding of twigs and the courtship of the pigeons. The pigeons do look a bit squelchy, but then again, this is Britain. Most things look squelchy, this time of year.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. NYYYYYYYOOOOMMMMM. Those are the only clues you’re getting as to what I’m playing this weekend.
James
Besides being in the final throes of the Resident Evil 4 remake, I am also inclined to nyyyyyoooommmmm without saying why.
Callum is away this weekend. He didn’t say what he was doing, but, as a young person, we cannot rule out that he’s moonlighting as a Silicon Valley CEO’s blood bag.
Ollie:
I’m bouncing between Marathon and Hades 2 at the moment, but I’m also starting to feel the familiar siren song of the factory automation genre again. I don’t know which way it will lead me this time. I do want to do a great big playthrough of Factorio Space Age at some point this year. But there’s also Shapez 2 1.0 coming out soon. And I still need to give Captain Of Industry a proper go. Decisions, decisions. Could you help sway me, commenters?
Julian
I’ve been sinking the odd hour into Marathon over lunch but I need some solid play time to crack that nut. Then I want to take that nut and smack some runners with it, because I’m sick of them killing me and taking all my stuff.
And you, reader dear, what are you playing this weekend…?
