Emirates has a world-renowned selection of Boeing 777-300ER cabins with four seating products. At the top end, First Class is characterized by the exceptional, fully enclosed suites with sliding doors for maximum privacy. Each suite comes with a personal minibar, adjustable ambient lighting, a vanity table, small wardrobe, and a seat that reclines into a true lie-flat bed topped with a mattress.

Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class cabins vary by aircraft configuration, but each has its own perks as the famous Emirates experience is not limited to just the most exclusive passengers. In general, there are a few rows near exits and crew areas that offer a little extra convenience and comfort. Let’s break it down by class, aircraft, and cabin to explore which seat has the most leg room, lies closest to the galley, or has the best access to the lavatory.

Every Emirates 777-300ER offers a class-leading passenger experience, with spacious, well-appointed cabins in First and Business Class. First Class suites provide privacy, virtual windows in the absence of physical views, and zero-gravity seats. Business Class features lie-flat seats and gourmet dining to rival a sit-down restaurant. Premium fare passengers enjoy gourmet meals, premium beverages, and access to a wide range of entertainment options.

Business Class features angled lie-flat seats arranged to give every traveler direct aisle access, paired with white-tablecloth service offering multicourse international cuisine. Business Class meals are regionally inspired gourmet dishes, and fliers can pre-order their meals. The social area in Business Class has been upgraded in recent overhauls, offering a stylish space for refreshments and socializing as you cruise among the clouds.

Economy Class seats are arranged 3-4-3 across, offering roughly 32–34 inches of pitch and 17 inches of width. Seat-back screens provide the full “ICE” system (Information, Communication, and Entertainment) catalogue, and passengers enjoy complimentary beverages and multicourse meals on every long-haul flight. Economy Class seats also have generous legroom, and extensive entertainment through the in-flight entertainment (IFE) system.

Economy Class

On lengthier flights, complimentary amenity packs with creative designs using sustainable materials are available for every flyer. Emirates Economy Class also provides free drinks, locally flavored dishes, and multicourse meal plans. There are thousands of channels of movies, TV series, music, and games available in Emirates Economy Class’s top-shelf IFE system.

Rows 37-45 offer a good window view, but for extra legroom, consider seats near emergency exits or in bulkhead rows. Twin seats in the back of the economy cabin can offer a more comfortable experience for couples. If proximity to galleys and lavatories is your priority when choosing seats, remember that seats near these areas can be noisier during overnight flights. Emirates offers onboard WiFi, a generous checked bag policy, and some of the highest-quality seat upholstery in economy class seating of any airline. Prices fluctuate depending on destination and timing, as with any carrier, but the airfare remains highly competitive even with the myriad of experience enhancements.

Premium Economy Class

Emirates’ Premium Economy class features leather seats with a spacious pitch of up to 40 inches, complete with calf and footrests. The seats are wide, offering a deep recline, and extra legroom for stretching and relaxation. Row 14 is the frontmost option, meaning you won’t have a neighbor ahead of you in the B777 300 Four Class (Ultra Long Range).

Technically, it’s not a significant difference as all the rows have similar legroom and space, but if you don’t like passing neighbors on the way to the powder room, go for an aisle seat to make your experience better. Emirates is planning to offer over 2 million Premium Economy seats by the end of this year by deploying its fleet of upgraded 777s and A380s, along with new A350s, to over 70 cities. In an April 2025 statement, Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said:

“The latest rollout of refurbished Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s and new A350s offer more opportunities for customers in over 70 dynamic cities and growing economies to enjoy our latest generation premium onboard experience combined with our award-winning service.”

Adjustable headrests allow passengers to customize their position for optimal support. The cabin is curtained off, minimizing noise and distractions from the galley and restrooms. Business Class

The same can be said for Business Class as Premium Economy – the frontmost row is number three on the B777 300 Four Class aircraft and number six in the B777 300 Three Class cabin. Once again, it makes a minimal difference unless you’re traveling with a baby stroller. The same recommendation for aisle seating applies as well if you want a smooth escape to the washroom.

Aboard the B777 300 Two Class Extended Range, seats 2J and 2K have a generous swath of empty space ahead of them facing crew areas, and row five sits alone behind one of the meal-preparation stations. The centerline seats may have a bit of shimmying to do on the way out, so if you’re not a fan of side-stepping, go for the aisle again. If you want to be as near the lavatory as possible, then rows six and twelve are the best on the B777 300 Four Class or rows seven and eight on the Three Class cabin, while row one is the way to go on the Two Class aircraft.

Gourmet food, premium entertainment options, and free chauffeured airport transfers are further business class perks. The 777’s seating arrangement is different from the A380’s 1-2-1 arrangement, and its social section offers a unique and exclusive setting to enjoy the flying experience. It makes little difference where you choose to sit in terms of privacy and comfort, but the outboard seats have an impressive three windows per suite.

The experience provided by Emirates’ 777 First Class is often called a “game changer” for the private cabin rooms with floor-to-ceiling doors. In centerline spaces, these suites can even include virtual windows. Every suite has temperature control and adjustable lighting, giving passengers unmatched privacy for a “hotel room in the sky” feeling as they circle the globe.

Emirates Skywards

Whatever way you fly, Emirates Skywards offers members a range of benefits. That includes priority services, lounge access, bonus miles, additional luggage allowance, and miles earned and spent. In addition to booking with partner airlines and other spending, members accrue miles on flights with Emirates and flydubai. Reward flights, upgrades, and other experiences can be obtained by exchanging miles through member services.

The Blue (Entry Level) membership grade offers priority check-in, free seat selection, and excess luggage allowance. All Silver perks are included in Gold, along with bonus miles, free lounge access for members and visitors in Dubai and throughout the world, and priority luggage delivery. Platinum offers free lounge access worldwide, first class check-in, and all the Gold level perks.

Emirates is not a member of any of the three major airline alliances: Oneworld, SkyTeam, or Star Alliance. While they do have partnerships with some airlines, Emirates has chosen to remain independent of the large reward-sharing networks.
