Valve announced the Steam Spring Sale start date with a brief trailer that teases some of the hundreds of discounts planned. The 2026 Steam Spring Sale begins on Thursday, March 19 at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT and runs through Thursday, March 26 at the same time.

Valve’s sale teaser picks out a dozen or so PC games that will headline the sale, along with a quick look at what to expect from the deep discounts section, a selection of popular games at prices much lower than usual. The trailer goes heavy on “friendslop” games — popular co-op and multiplayer games like RV There Yet, Raft, Sons of the Forest, and Yapyap — but there’s a broad range of indies and AAA games as well.
