USAF Buys 2 Boeing 747-8s For Presidential Fleet Support



On December 15th we reported that reports had surfaced that Lufthansa had decided to sell off two of its Boeing 747-8s to the US Air Force. Based on unofficial data at the time, the news has since been confirmed by the air force. Indeed, it appears that the pair of jumbo jets are being acquired for the future presidential airlift fleet.
