Two years of inaction have normalized hate crimes in Toronto


For more than two years, Jews in Toronto have watched antisemitic harassment, intimidation, and targeting escalate with little visible consequence. Protest violations, threats, vandalism, and attacks on Jewish spaces have too often been met with police restraint, hesitation, or stand-downs, frequently justified as de-escalation.
