Twiggy, Maya Wigram Front Burberry’s Spring Campaign

ENGLISH BEAT: Burberry is championing the diverse energy of the U.K.’s music scene with its latest spring 2026 campaign, with an inclusive cast of models including Twiggy, Filip Bryndza, Sora Choi, Ella Dalton, Shuqi Lan, Ahmed Richards and Raika Sales.

The lineup also includes some of fashion’s latest next-gen nepo babies, including fashion designer Phoebe Philo‘s daughter Maya Wigram; British rock band The Verve’s lead Richard Ashcroft’s son Sonny Ashcroft, and rock band Pulp member Jarvis Cocker’s son Albert Cocker.

Twiggy, who attended the brand’s spring 2026 show last September at the giant tent set up at Kensington Palace Gardens, sports a leather trenchcoat with fringe in the campaign, while Wigram dons a brown paisley laser-cut suede trenchcoat with whipstitching detail.

“Music pushes boundaries, blurs lines and defines the codes of fashion. It is about self-expression, originality and belonging,” said Daniel Lee, Burberry’s chief creative officer, on how music and fashion have formed a culture-defining relationship that inspired the brand’s spring 2026 collection.

Lee told WWD earlier that he wanted to celebrate “fashion’s love affair with music,” and drew inspiration from British summer festivals; “Quadrophenia: A Mod Ballet,” which he saw at Sadler’s Wells in London, and the upcoming Beatles biopic, directed by Sam Mendes.

He put a Burberry spin on it all, sending out short, swingy A-line coats covered in checks done in Pop Art shades of bright green, yellow, lavender, dark denim blue and aqua. Models wore long scarves, Chelsea boots and shaggy Gallagher brothers-style hair that tickled the eyelids.

Dresses were short, sleeveless and breezy — made from circles of macramé or chainmail, and were hand-crocheted and embroidered. Lee paired them with flat lace-up boots — there’s a lot of mud at those festivals — and oversize bags edged with miles of fringe.

He even slimmed down the suits — jackets were longer, with a ’60s flair — and had a shinier coating, too.

For the evening, Lee ramped up the shine, icing mini-kilts with pink, green and silver sequins in the shape of the Burberry check and whipping up silky bomber jackets and bright, tie-dyed suits for men.
