Trump says whole White House East Wing will be demolished for ballroom

Trump’s ballroom plan outlined the construction of a 90,000-square-foot space with a seating capacity of 650 people — though the president earlier this week said that the finished project would hold 999 people. The U.S. Secret Service will handle necessary security enhancements.
