As the administration continues to evaluate candidates to become the next chair of the Federal Reserve, President Trump said on Friday that he may want Kevin Hassett — once thought to be a frontrunner — to stay where he is. “I would lose you. It’s a serious concern to me,” Trump said, as reported by Bloomberg.
Kevin Hassett currently serves in the Trump administration as the director of the National Economic Council.
