This ergonomic gaming mouse has plunged down to $60 on the final day of the Amazon Spring Sale

Traditionally, the words ‘ergonomic’ and ‘gaming mouse’ haven’t really gone together, although Keychron sought to bring them together with its M5 mouse. It’s a vertical mouse that brings your hand into a more natural position, while retaining the beefy internals to make this a suitable mouse for gaming workloads. Currently, it’s down to just $60 from Amazon USA on the final day of the Spring Sale, marking out a new low price, which is always nice.

The M5’s chassis raises your hand up to a 47-degree angle at a position known as the ‘handshake position’, which is designed to be more natural than having it hunched over a mouse, as usual. This can make work more comfortable by relieving pressure on your wrist. While it takes some getting used to if you’re coming from a more conventional mouse, it can make a difference in both the short and long-term for work and play.

Inside, you get a zippy 30,000 DPI sensor, plus the benefit of dual wireless connectivity with 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.3 to make the M5 quite a versatile rodent. The 2.4GHz wireless connection also provides the benefit of an 8000Hz polling rate for more frequent reporting of inputs – this may not be something mere mortals can notice, but for pro players, it’s a handy upgrade for reliability and theoretically less latency. Keychron rates this rodent to last for up to 120 hours via its 2.4GHz receiver (which drops to 40 hours with 8K polling enabled), and you also get some convenient web-based software for remapping buttons, changing DPI levels and more besides.

If you’ve been wanting a powerful and surprisingly comfortable gaming mouse for less, this Amazon USA discount on the vertical Keychron M5 is a fantastic one.
