Third Iranian missile intercepted by NATO over Turkish airspace


The alliance has strengthened its air defences in Turkey while Ankara has cautioned Tehran against targeting its soil and expanding the scope of the conflict. Earlier this week, NATO deployed a Patriot anti-missile system to Turkey’s Malatya province — home to another key NATO facility, the Kurecik radar base — to bolster defences on the alliance’s southeastern flank.
