Teyana Taylor brought a splash of color to her winter wardrobe, wearing a fringe trenchcoat design by Burberry while out in New York City on Thursday.
The “One Battle After Another” Golden Globe-winner styled a look from the British luxury fashion brand’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection that was originally modeled on the runway by Naomi Campbell. Burberry’s “Fitzrovia” trench features tailoring from a lightweight viscose blend printed with a Baroque-style pattern.

The piece includes a dramatic fringe skit, with movement and playfulness that contrasted the tailored top. Other details in the design included shoulder epaulets, an A-line silhouette and a belted waist with calf leather B buckle for the Burberry brand.
Taylor accessorized her look by carrying the Bridle clutch by Burberry, along with the label’s Daisy sunglasses. Her jewelry consisted of a necklace and rings designed by Rainbow K.

Taylor’s look made its runway debut during London Fashion Week in February 2025. Curated by chief creative officer Daniel Lee, the collection spotlighted assorted outerwear, from iterations on the classic trenchcoat, to jackets and more.
“Daniel Lee’s collection was an exercise in focus and restraint. The bright colors, floaty fabrics and animal patterns of seasons past were replaced by an army of trenches, greatcoats, rain capes with fur-lined hoods, and hefty fringed scarves, all done in an earthy palette of dark brown, green and burgundy,” Samantha Conti wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.

“When those coats, capes and trenches came off, they revealed clothes that were just as warming and protective — ribbed knit skirts and matching tops, a lineup of velvet damask suits and dresses with ruffled sleeves, loose and flowing as Victorian nightshirts.”
Hot off her first Golden Globe award win, Taylor is promoting her new film “The Rip,” costarring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, which follows a group of Miami officers who find millions of dollars in cash, leading to mistrust among the group. The film is available to stream on Netflix.
