Starmer to Chair Crisis Meeting as Trump’s Iran Deadline Looms


Starmer will discuss the economic impact of the crisis with cabinet ministers including Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves, Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband, alongside the BOE’s Bailey, the Treasury said in an e-mailed statement late Sunday. They will also discuss energy security, supply chain resilience and the international response to the war, according to the statement.
