S&P/TSX composite rises on consumer cyclicals stocks, U.S. markets mixed




TORONTO — Canada’s main stock index finished higher after losses earlier in the day, helped by gains in the consumer cyclicals sector, while U.S. markets were mixed.
The S&P/TSX composite index was up 182.95 points at 32,571.55.
