Shailene Woodley Goes Minimalist in Prada for ‘Paradise’ Premiere

Shailene Woodley opted for runway style inspo for her Prada look at the “Paradise” Season Two premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The “Big Little Lies” star styled a look from the Italian luxury fashion house’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The ensemble came complete with a loose black jacket and a futuristic take on the peekaboo bra layering trend, with angular elements designed on the black fabric base piece.

Woodley also wore a silky blue and brown skirt in muted tones for her modern attire. The actress paired her sartorial statement with a pair of leather pumps from Prada, as well. As for accessories, Woodley went the minimalist route, as did her glam. Hair and makeup favored a natural, clean look.

The actress’ Prada ensemble made its runway debut during Milan Fashion Week in September 2025. Described by designer Miuccia Prada as “a new kind of elegance,” the collection boasted a pared down, “agnostic” curation.

“Preppy polo shirts with chest emblems were supersized and stiffened into grandiose coats, or flaring cardigans. Loose cocktail dresses with jeweled collars were worn with the offhand attitude of a sweatshirt under rugged leather coats,” Miles Socha wrote of the collection’s highlights in WWD’s review. “Meanwhile skirts, perhaps the most Prada garment of all, came in bubble, pleated and pencil variations, or sometimes elements of kilts, dirndls and evening lace jumbled together, the various panels tied up neatly with a grosgrain ribbon.”

On the bra tops featured, like the one Woodley wore on Wednesday night, Socha noted how they “were reduced to drifting bits of chiffon, skirts to sheer tubes held aloft with filmy suspenders.”

“Paradise” follows Xavier Collins, played by Oscar-nominated actor Sterling K. Brown, an agent investigating the death of the President of the United States within an exclusive, serene and secretive community. Season Two of the series premieres Monday on Hulu and Disney+.
