With Christmas just a few weeks away, Louis Vuitton put the Palm Beach, Fla., crowd in a festive holiday spirit with a night of partying on Thursday celebrating the luxury brand’s newest store, a two-level unit located at 222 Worth Avenue.

The site showcases the entire range of the Louis Vuitton offer, carefully curated to the local lifestyle.

The evening began with a cocktail event inside the store followed by an after party at Palm House with DJs Paperwater and Sidepiece. Guests included Serena and Venus Williams, Georgina Bloomberg, River Viiperi, Jen Ceballos, Georges Coupet, Carolina Lindo and Alexandra Sisto Daniel. 

In addition to Vuitton’s bags and luggage, the new store houses men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, watches, fragrance, fine jewelry and home. The rtw is designed by artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière with Pharrell Williams, the men’s creative director. There’s also the home collection, featuring objets nomades, the new line of furniture and lighting, decorative objects and textiles, tableware and gaming. The home collection features collaborations with Estudio Campana, Patrick Jouin, Cristián Mohaded, Patricia Urquiola and Tokujin Yoshioka, lines paying tribute to graphic artist Fortunato Depero and designer Charlotte Perriand, and custom hand-painted luggage by a Louis Vuitton artisan.

While the Palm Beach store has been open for business since Oct. 31, the brand delayed its official grand opening celebration, aware that much of the Palm Beach crowd are snowbirds from up north and might not venture south till later in the year as winter sets in.

The site — Louis Vuitton’s 14th in the state — blends the luxury brand’s signature visual codes with an architecture reflecting the neighborhood’s Mediterranean Revival style. The ground level has a European oak floor, wooden portals, rooms with varied heights and finishes, and a sculptural wood staircase to the second level. Custom dégradé wallpaper covers the stairwell. The second floor displays the home collections and is one of just two stores in the U.S. with a dedicated section for the category.

Artwork is seen throughout the store, including commissions created specifically for the Palm Beach store by Remy Benito, Trudy Benson, Isadora Caparo, Lautaro Cuttica and John Vitale.
