More fear than harm for Ronaldo

Ronaldo/Saudi Pro League

Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to be fit for his club Al Nassr’s upcoming clash against Neom, scheduled for Saturday, March 7, as part of Matchday 25 of the Saudi Pro League.

Having suffered a hamstring injury in the last match against Al Feiha, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is reportedly on track to recover in time for the next round of Saudi Arabia’s top-flight competition.

Speaking to Saudi channel Al Ekhbariya, physiotherapist Rakan Al Wabal praised Cristiano Ronaldo’s physical condition: “The injury he sustained would have kept any other player off the pitch for a long time,” he stated, before adding: “But Ronaldo, who follows a specific training program, diet, and physical preparation, won’t be out for long. He’ll be absent from the squad for three days, then he’ll return to the field as usual.”

Despite his age (41), the Funchal native has scored 22 goals and provided 4 assists in 26 matches so far this 2025-2026 season.
