Puma Reveals International Soccer Kits With New York Celebration

On Thursday evening at Brooklyn’s Domino Square in Domino Park, Puma unveiled its new official international soccer team kits for its 11 sponsored nations including Portugal, Morocco, Ghana, Paraguay, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Czech Republic, Switzerland, New Zealand, Austria and Egypt ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.

“It’s a really nice way to celebrate the most elite level of football while bringing it into the neighborhood in an authentic and true way,” Nadia Kokni, Puma vice president global brand marketing, told WWD. “Choosing Brooklyn, choosing this spot — it’s the melting pot of culture and also representing transformation and energy. I think on top of that, bringing all of our countries together was a really good way to celebrate the culture of fútbol. We wanted to do something that was really for the people.

The 2026 collection features kits from each of the 11 nations across four continents, Puma’s innovative Ultraweave technology and dryCell sweat-wicking fabric, and replica jerseys produced using Puma’s Re:Fibre initiative. Each design will be available to purchase from Tuesday on the global sports company’s e-commerce.

Custom-designed trucks representing each of Puma’s 11 nations, a structured 4v4 tournament facilitated by NYC Footy, interactive games with jersey prizes, live music by a DJ lineup representing a handful of the nations, and a live performance by Ghanaian artist Black Sherif were part of the celebration. Each truck represented their culture with lively designs and free food and beverages from each of the countries cuisine, provided by eateries including Brooklyn’s Portuguese-inspired bakery Lisbonata, William Greenberg Desserts, Basileta Coffee Cart, The Moroccan Bakery, Little Morocco and more.

In addition, the Daily Paper collective’s Jefferson Osei and Abderrahmane Trabsini and social media streamer Fanum joined as special guests while soccer stars Ricardo Quaresma, Asamoah and El Hadji Diouf were present as representatives of their nations.

“For Puma, fútbol is part of our DNA. If you think of fútbol or soccer, you think of Puma; if you think of [Diego] Maradona, Pelé or Johan [Cruyff] — these amazing athletes, you think of Puma. The World Cup gives us another opportunity to celebrate that legacy and also give people the opportunity to experience what Puma has today. We have this amazing foundation and legacy, and now we have innovative, bold, bright product to reflect the energy of our players and athletes,” Kokni said.

Kokni added that as it gets closer to the FIFA World Cup 2026, Puma will hold big activations in key cities across the U.S., including a block party on the West coast, as well as celebrations around the world. “In New York, we’re doing some stuff with Captain America himself, Christian Pulisic, and also some amazing limited-edition products as well that will be booted by Kidsuper,” she hinted.
