PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra tiers are set to receive a mighty impressive lineup of games to round out the year. One of the best Assassin’s Creed games in recent memory, an excellent Team Ninja Soulslike, and more are set to join the subscription service on Dec. 16, as announced in a PlayStation Blog post on Wednesday.

After the series moved towards sprawling and expansive RPGs, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is something of a throwback to the origins of Ubisoft’s long-running series. It still features an open world, but it’s smaller and denser than those in Valhalla or Odyssey, and the main story can be beaten in around 20 hours. You play as Basim, a street thief who gets recruited into the Hidden Ones. Polygon’s Tauriq Moosa enjoyed it, calling Mirage one of the best entries in the series.

Also arriving is Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, a standout Soulslike from Team Ninja. Like many titles from the studio, including the Nioh games, Wo Long doesn’t skimp on brutality or difficulty. Polygon’s Khee Hoon Chan called it “a journey worth embarking on — even if it means devoting three more hours to your next boss fight.”

The new additions aren’t all AAA titles, however. Those looking for smaller indie fare should check out Skate Story, which was a day-one release on the platform on Monday. You skate around the underworld as a demon made of glass, performing tricks on your way toward consuming moons. It’s trippy, and does more than just iterate that skating is cool.

Additional titles joining the Game Catalog are Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Planet Coaster 2, Cat Quest 3, Lego Horizon Adventures, Paw Patrol: Grand Prix, and Paw Patrol World. The throwback brawler Soulcalibur 3 will join for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, as part of Premium’s classic games lineup.

PlayStation Plus’s Game Catalog of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games is available to those who subscribe to its higher tiers, above Essentials. In a way, it’s Sony’s answer to Xbox Game Pass, offering hundreds of games for subscribers to download and check out.
