Pedro Pascal Named Chanel House Ambassador by Matthieu Blazy


PARIS — After soft launching their partnership on the Oscars red carpet and last October’s fashion show, Chanel and Pedro Pascal have finally made it Instagram official.

As of Monday, Chanel has named Pascal its newest house ambassador, in a move revealed on their social media accounts. The announcement deepens the ties between the French luxury brand and one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors as Chanel sharpens its cultural positioning under creative director Matthieu Blazy.

“I love Matthieu’s vision, which I find powerful, elegant and incredibly warm. It shows me how we could exist together; there’s something for everyone in his universe. I am happy and honored to join it and I am eager to see what Matthieu has planned for the future of Chanel. The house has a remarkable ability to honor its heritage while remaining modern and relevant, and I am excited to be part of that evolving story,” Pascal said in a statement.

Blazy described the actor as a natural fit for the brand’s evolving identity. “Pedro is a wonderful man and an incredible actor. His kindness, talent and his vision of the world are both inviting and inspiring. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Chanel family and I’m happy to embark on this adventure together,” he said.

The announcement follows Pascal’s appearance at Blazy’s Chanel spring 2026 show at the Grand Palais in Paris, where the designer presented his debut collection for the house. The actor also wore Chanel to the 98th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, signaling an early alignment between brand and ambassador.

In October, Pascal was front row at Blazy’s debut show to watch his sister Lux walk in the lineup.

The actor, who has often played with daring looks, is an accidental fashion icon.

“It’s fun to get dressed up. And I think that it really is just a matter of picking what you put on and you feel good in it. And so then that answers itself, really,” he told WWD at the time.

He was sporting a custom three-button sweater from the brand at the show, a partnership that continued through the Oscars, when Blazy dressed the star in a jacketless tuxedo shirt with a starburst of a floral brooch, which was made of silk and feathers.

“He’s so uncompromising and that it comes from his heart in a way that I don’t see from a lot of places,” Pascal added of Blazy’s work. “He’s telling a story, and there’s emotion behind it.”

The very booked and busy Pascal has several films due out soon, including the comedy “Behemoth!” as well as two Avengers’ series films. “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” is due out in May and had been buzzed about for a Cannes berth, but is not yet included in the lineup.
