Before he rose to fame playing JFK Jr. in the hit FX series Love Story, Paul Anthony Kelly was a working model, who landed campaigns for everyone from Brooks Brothers to Bonobos. But Kelly also posed for a series of e-commerce photos for department store Kohl’s and its in-house brand, Sonoma Goods for Life.

Eagle-eyed shoppers have found photos of Kelly still up on the Kohl’s website, with the now-TV star modeling polos, dress shirts and T-shirts from the fast fashion line. Kohl’s is also playing off Kelly’s newfound fame, with the store’s Instagram account resurfacing photos from his Sonoma Goods for Life shoot along with the caption, “Have a feeling these styles are gonna get all the love” (a play of course, on the Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette show title).

Commenters were quick to chime in, with one writing that “Kohl’s [is] getting the return on investment with his photos,” while another wrote, “This is a flex. Give the social team a raise.”

Though it’s not clear when Kelly first modeled for Kohl’s, a number of pieces that he’s seen wearing online are still available. Well-priced and (obviously) well-styled, the pieces offer contemporary takes on menswear staples, all for under $30. You don’t have to summer in the Hamptons or Hyannis Port to wear these items either — these are great everyday basics for the office, dinners and date nights alike.

Take a look at some of Kelly’s Kohl’s modeling photos and shop the styles through the links below.

Sonoma Goods For Life Short Sleeve Nautical Striped Sweater Polo

This knit polo looks way more expensive than its $30 price point, and gives off Italian countryside vibes or dinner on the Upper East Side. We like the classic navy and white nautical-inspired stripes and the ribbed hem, which gives it an elevated touch. Kohl’s has this available in sizes small to XXL.

Sonoma Goods For Life Tipped Sweater Polo

You can also pick up this tipped sweater polo, made from a cotton-rayon blend and featuring a trim — but not too tight — fit. This “grey ivory” colorway takes it up just a notch from basic white — and looks more sophisticated too.

Sonoma Goods For Life® Knit Short Sleeve Button Down Shirt

Kelly can also be seen modeling this short sleeve button down shirt, which is made from a knit cotton blend that’s super soft and smooth to the touch. The button down offers a tailored fit, but is less rigid than an oxford shirt, making it extremely versatile both in and out of the office. Our suggestion: wear this with khakis in Cape Cod, or with jeans, sneakers and a great pair of JFK Jr.-inspired sunglasses to lunch.

You can also pick up the button down in this light green colorway, which gives off preppy Martha’s Vineyard vibes, or Southern gentleman in Savannah. Kohl’s has this shirt available in more than a dozen prints and colors in total, and in sizes small to XXL.

Sonoma Goods For Life UPF-40 Long Sleeve Outdoor Shirt

Sonoma Goods For Life UPF-40 Long Sleeve Outdoor Shirt

This rugged button-up is designed for outdoor adventures, with a water-resistant nylon material that also helps to wick away moisture from the skin. A touch of spandex makes it easy to move around in the shirt, while a special UPF coating offers protection from the sun. Kohl’s has this shirt for 65% off right now.

Sonoma Goods For Life Essential Short Sleeve Striped Henley T-Shirt

Kelly looks right at home in this short-sleeved henley, which features a subtle striped pattern to elevate the everyday essential piece. This T-shirt, in beige, is selling quickly online, with Kohl’s reporting more than 2,000 shopper purchases in the last few weeks alone.

This sustainable pick is made from cotton and recycled polyester, with a knit construction that stays light and breezy. Kelly is wearing the “tan spacedye” colorway, but Kohl’s also has this Sonoma Goods polo in a blue and “coral.”

Of course Kelly has done a lot since posing for these Kohl’s photos — the actor recently sat front row at Dior’s Paris Fashion Week show, and he was spotted at Giorgio Armani’s pre-Oscars party on Rodeo Drive.

As for Love Story: you can stream the FX show online for free with a free trial to Hulu.
