This week’s roundup of staffing changes on Parliament Hill.
Welcome back to Hill Movers, readers.
Palwashah Ali is moving in more ways than one, leaving behind provincial politics for the nation’s capital.

In a post on LinkedIn, Ali announced that she had left her role as executive assistant to Liberal MPP Adil Shamji and manager of stakeholder relations at the Ontario Liberal Caucus Service Bureau.
She said she’s since moved to Ottawa to join Indigenous Services Minister Mandy Gull-Masty’s office as the Ontario regional advisor.
“It’s an honour to get to work on such an important file,” she wrote, adding that she was grateful for her time working in Queen’s Park.
Ali, who’s also the president of the Ontario Young Liberals, led Shamji’s re-election campaign in the 2025 Ontario election.
