Sure, Overwatch is fun, but dressing up the heroes of Overwatch (and villains of Talon) is a big part of the appeal. You know it and Blizzard knows it, and the developer is giving its players plenty of stylish and silly new ways to outfit their mains with cool costumes and weapon skins in 2026.
In addition to a bunch of new Legendary skins that will be available for sale in the Overwatch shop — see above — there are battle pass skins, new Mythic skins, and skins that can be earned in Stadium and Competitive modes. For a look at what Blizzard has planned for Overwatch in the skins department this year, read on.
New Overwatch Mythic skins
In a move that will annoy some Overwatch fans (but delight Mercy mains), the new hero getting a deluxe Mythic skin is Mercy. Yes, the fan-favorite Support is getting her second Mythic, Celestial Guardian, which creates the fantasy of Angela Ziegler as a literal angel.
Also coming in the Mythic skins department is a new weapon skin for Juno, which reimagines her Mediblaster as a space ship piloted by a weird little guy, and a Mythic for Mei.
Blizzard has confirmed the next batch of Mythic hero skins will be for Soldier: 76, Ana, Mauga, and Genji, with Mythic weapon skins in the works for Genji, Hanzo, and Sojourn.
Hello Kitty and Friends
Blizzard is teaming up with Sanrio for a new collaboration: Hello Kitty and Friends! Skins for Juno, Mercy, D.Va, Lucio, Widowmaker, and Kiriko will bring Sanrio’s adorable mascots to the world of Overwatch.
Overwatch vs. Talon Battle Pass skins
As part of the yearlong Reign of Talon storyline that Blizzard is kicking off with season 1 of Overwatch in 2026 are a bunch of Overwatch-themed skins for Tracer, Genji, and Sojourn, and Talon-themed skins for Vendetta, Emre, Moira, and Mauga, all of which will be available through the battle pass.
Rainy Day
Joining Mei, Orisa, Mercy, Tracer, and Kiriko on their rainy day walks in 2026 are Roadhog and D.Va, which are getting new April showers-friendly skins. Roadhog plays into the concept of wallowing in the mud, while D.Va’s cat-themed skin gives her a Ghibli-esque mech.
Loverwatch
For all you lovers out there, I hope you dig Hazard and Soldier: 76, because you’re about to get these hunks served up Loverwatch-style.
Stadium
Serious Overwatch Stadium players will have three new skins to chase, including an All-Star skin for Reinhardt and Elite-rank skins for Tracer and Sigma.
Void
Blizzard has teased Void-themed skins for three characters: Venture, Sigma, and Illari.
Crimson Wolf Competitive weapon skins
The next Competitive weapon skin theme is Crimson Wolf, which ties into the Talon-focused story that will run through Overwatch in 2026.
