Florida State kept its national-best win streak going in dominant fashion on Friday, run-ruling Notre Dame to advance to 34-4 (11-0 ACC) on the season.
The Seminoles held the Irish to just one hit, earning the team’s 10th shutout of the year.

Florida State’s offense broke through in the bottom of the second when Ashtyn Danley doubled to left center and scored on a triple to right field by Hayley Griggs. Makenna Sturgis drove in Griggs on a groundout and Isa Torres followed with a solo home run to deep right field to make it 3-0.
The Seminoles blew the game open in the third when Kennedy Harp hit a two-run homer to deep left field, scoring Angelee Bueno, to push their lead to 5-0.
After Danley singled, a hit-by-pitch and an intentional walk loaded the bases for Jaysoni Beachum, who hit a sacrifice fly to center field to plate Danley. Griggs then scored on a wild pitch before Marin Heller doubled down the left field line to drive in Torres and make it 8-0 after three.
Florida State tacked on two more in the fourth. Bueno, Harp and Danley hit consecutive singles to load the bases, and Griggs singled up the middle to bring home Bueno and Harp for the 10-0 final.
The Seminoles are 11-0 in ACC play, the only Power Four team in the country undefeated in conference play. Florida State has won 18 consecutive meetings against Notre Dame.
